"Top Three Reasons Most Wholesale Businesses Fail!"
|
Back in the day it was easy to sell on eBay. Anyone could do it because quite frankly, not everyone was doing it. You could literally put anything up on an auction listing and make money. Today, it’s a little different. Everyone is rushing to get their share of the online pie and eBay is the first place it seems most people usually turn to. Unfortunately, eBay is the last place where most people end their online career!
Why?
Take note of these top 3 reasons why most people fail when trying to start an eBay wholesale business and avoid them like the plague!
1. Most people do not understand how to properly market their products on the internet. I have found that most people selling on eBay rely on a one time sale. List the item on auction and then sell it and then repeat the process over and over and over and over…
Wrong!
Learn to get a selling strategy to properly sell on the backend. Upsell your products. Use other programs, use automation. There is so much more you can do without spending much extra effort to make more money with the same item. Discover more strategies for eBay selling!
Plus, I have free bonuses that come with my book that teaches how to use other peoples products to profit from!
2. A lack of selling strategy means most people don’t have a plan. Get a plan and plan to profit. Gone are the days of just throwing stuff up on eBay and making money. Yes, there is still plenty of room, but now you need to do some market research to make sure your product market is not saturated. You need to make sure people are buying in that market at a high enough profit for you so it is worth your while. Most people I have found do not consider these issues. Again, I teach this in my Surplus products book!
3. Most people do not understand what it means to buy wholesale products. There is a misconception between wholesale products and surplus products. There is a big difference. What happens is someone will find a so called "wholesale supplier" and find one of the following scenarios:
A) The "wholesale pricing" on the merchandise is not low enough for you to make a profit, and / or the products are either outdated or have very little demand.
B) The "wholesale pricing" on the merchandise is low, however, there is no real demand for the products. In other words you will be hard pressed to find a market to sell to, let alone make a profit from it.
C) The products may actually be in demand, however, the low "wholesale pricing" is only attainable if you purchase an enormous amount of bulk product.
Any of these scenarios will doom you before you even get started. Many people will find themselves getting burnt by a middleman sucking their hard earned cash right out of their pockets like a vacuum or they find themselves getting burnt by some scammer setting up his 5th internet surplus business in 3 months and once he gets someone’s cash he closes shop and sets up under another name. Why? For the simple fact these people didn’t do their due diligence.
The problem is most people do not understand how to buy products, let alone to sell them because they have no plan to buy and no plan to sell. They don’t educate themselves before they get involved.
If you want to buy wholesale or surplus products to resale what do you do?
Simple. Learn from someone whose done it. Someone whose been there and have made the mistakes and has been burnt and someone whose learned from those mistakes and made a lot of money. Don’t become the next statistic. You can learn to become successful before you even get started by picking up a copy of

Time to kick back and chill.
Weird Al being Weird Al… Yankovic that is.
Can’t be so serious all of the time : )
Check out What I Bought On Ebay… Awesome…
This was an actual video of Weird Al with the Back Street Boys performing this song at eBay Live a couple years ago. Unfortunately, it has now since been removed so this video will have to do. The song is still great though…
