Penny Auction Is The Most Interesting Among Other Auctions.

As it is stated in Wikipedia, there are quite a number of auction systems – English auction, the blind, exchange, bills of exchange, deposit, and many others … We will consider one of the most interesting, in my opinion, the Scandinavian system of auction. What does this mean and how does it work?

As it is stated in Wikipedia, there are quite a Number of auction systems:

• English auction – is the most common type of auction, which stipulates that buyers offer incrementally increasing price for a product until one bidder is left – the winner. It is also called a bull auction.

• A blind auction – is an auction in which the auctioneers have to submit their offers in sealed envelopes to a definite date.

• Exchange Auction – is an auction in which the goods are sold on an exchange.

• Bill auction – is an auction, in which treasure bills of exchange are sold.

• Deposit auction – is online auction, in which commercial banks trade in lots of (legal entities’ deposits) by raising the proposed interest rate.

• Mortgage auction – is an auction, which applies in cases where the sale takes place by force, mostly – in the sale of property which is the key to the outstanding loan and many others…

We consider one of the most interesting, in my opinion, the Scandinavian system of auction. What does this mean and how does it work?
Scandinavian (or penny) auction – is an auction in which the goods are put up for sale at a low price (theoretically, even with a zero), the price increases with pre-fixed step, and the opportunity to make a bet is available for a fee. Payment for the opportunity to bid must exceed the fixed step rates.

The items are exhibited extremely new, at this auction the most widespread are cell phones, communicators, gaming consoles, laptops, gift cards from well-known boutiques, microwave ovens, TV-sets and others – there are no the goods which will be redundant there. The prices of these goods for which they “go” to the buyer just does not seem real. For example, you can by iPod for 40 dollars, TV-set for 30 dollars and so on.

The first question that arises – why so cheap! We are not surprised that in the networks they are trying to throw everything, but not so openly! The price at which goods are sold is less than the market price for 70 or even 90%! After studying the work of the Scandinavian system of auction, it becomes clear that there is no trickery. Making a bet on bull of the product, the player spends more than $ 3 dollars, for example, the product is increasing at the amount – 25 cents. Thus the value of the product increases not highly significantly. As a result, the auction winner, who makes the last bid, gets the product to the ultimate “ridiculous” price.

There is no guarantee that you will get lucky in such a way and possibly less, but possibly more. Besides, my opinion, this is the most interesting and exciting from all auctions.
